It was some time ago that I discovered the world of herbal toothpastes. I have tried a few ones but the one I am going to introduce now is my favourite. It is a Neem toothpaste manfactured by Dabur. At first you may not like the taste because it is very different from traditional toothpastes, but when you get used to it you start to appreciate the slightly pungent taste that refreshes your mouth. The toothpaste costs about $6 and lasts for a relatively long time. I have tried the Tulsi variety as well but I find it too sweet. There is also a Clove one which I yet have to try. It does not contain fluoride. Neem is a powerful antiviral and antibacterial herb.

Herbal Shampoos
My hair gets oily very quickly. In the past I was using a shampoo that was labeled as oiliness counteracting, which worked well. However, it is not available in the place where I am living now. Finding a new shampoo suitable for my hair was not easy but there is one I would like to recommend. The price is about $8 and the bottle is relatively big. It has a very nice herbal smell and it works very well for oily hair. I have tried the Amla one and the Shikakai one until now and Shikakai is my favourite. I have seen a Neem one as well.
